Newport, Rhode Island, will play host to a major meeting of minds for this year’s reinvented Project USA. The Yacht Report will not only deliver an incisive conference over three days, we also have enhanced our social and networking plan to deliver even more value to the 250 plus delegates. The American Superyacht Forum, to give the event its new title, will discuss and debate some of the most important issues that the US market will face over the next few years, plus deliver some highly relevant and detailed technical discussions that will focus the delegates on building better yachts, but more efficiently and with the word “business” as a key focal point.
We have chosen Newport for a host of reasons, which Roger Marshall - our resident US Editor - highlights in the ASF Article from Issue 93 below. More importantly, Newport is one of the busiest and burgeoning centres for the US summer cruising season, with some serious investment on the horizon. It is for this reason that we have chosen this stunning harbour location as one of the biennial permanent homes for the American Superyacht Forum. It provides a platform for the industry to visit this beautiful home of yachting as well as some excellent opportunity to develop some serious additional events that delegates will find of immense fun.
The usual networking breakfasts, lunches and dinners will be a relaxed part of the programme, and on the final day, the Friday, we have developed in association with Awlgrip and Interlux a new dimension to the event...
