Its not often someone reinvents the wheel, but if you were at the yacht shows this year, you may have seen just this with the traditional seaplane. When we spoke to the team behind this concept, Focus 21 France, they were eager to show the different abilities their flying tender holds.

Lets take a scenario: the superyacht is under attack. This craft can be launched and flown, a few metres above the sea surface for approximately 100km. Ample range and speed to get far away from the yacht.

Scenario number 2: alternative to the traditional helicopter idea.

Scenario number 3: if guests are prone to sea-sickness, this is about as calm and speedy a ride as can be found, until they are safe aboard the stabilised mother-ship.

Scenario number 4: completely different from anything your neighbours have.
