Christensen Shipyards launched its newest megayacht, Casino Royale, on July the 2nd in front of a crowd of onlookers, including new owner, John Staluppi, owner of Millenium Yachts, whose wife Jeanette performed the christening.
The 50metre Casino Royale is the the largest yacht that Christensen has produced and has over 6900 square feet of interior space, providing ample space for
entertaining. Designed by
Christensen Shipyards and powered by twin MTU 12V 4000 series
engines, the composite-hulled Casino Royale will have a maximum speed of 18 knots, while
cruising at 12 knots, and has a range of 4500 nautical miles. Casino Royale also bears Christensens' first Stern
Thruster which is now offered in the Custom Series line.
In addition to her name the yacht also boasts a James Bond-esque interior, created in part by the owners and Carol Williamson & Associates. Aligning the spiral staircase are silhouettes of Bond girls emblazoned on frosted glass panes, illuminated by LED lighting. Unique to the Casino Royale is the extensive custom stonework throughout the interior, which includes a intricately carved roulette wheel made of stone and petrified wood designed by Jeff Homchick.
The yacht features an interior made of Sapelle Mahogany raised panel joinery with custom marble and granite work throughout the Main Salon & Dining Areas. Within the spacious hull is the main deck owner stateroom and private bath with marble wainscoting, bath and sinks. The VIP stateroom includes an en-suite bath with marble and granite throughout. Casino Royale allows plenty of room for visitors, and has five guest accommodations, as well as crew’s quarters for up to ten.

The Casino Royale is fully classified & certified to ABSxA1-AMS & MMA Unlimited Cruising. After her final fit out and sea trials, Casino Royale will head to Alaska before travelling on her own bottom to Fort Lauderdale where she will debut in the 2008 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show.
