It has been another bumper month for fleet activity with numerous launches, all covered by the editorial team here at Synfo.com.
Launches in April included the following:
Addiction - Dutch yard Amels have presented three yachts this month, including the first AMELS 177 Addiction. Read more here.
Athos – Dutch yard Holland Jachtbouw launched the long anticipated 62m Athos, the world's largest privately owned two-masted schooner. Following the stepping of the mast sea trials will begin shortly prior to her delivery later in the year. Read more here.
Baraka – Turkish yard Proteksan Turquoise launched the 53m Baraka on the 15th of April. Her naval architecture and exterior is by the Proteksan Turquoise team, with an interior by Francesco Paszkowski. Read more here.
Family Day – Italian yard Codecasa have launched the 65m Family Day from their Viareggio base. Read more here.
Fivea - Italian yard Perini Navi have launched their latest 45m yacht, the sloop Fivea, which is the 48th unit in the fleet. Read more here.
Hull 630.1 – Italian yard ISA launched the 63m displacement yacht Hull 630.1 (the name of which we have promised to keep secret), which will be delivered ahead of schedule in time for the summer cruising season. Read more here.
Hull 783 - Nobiskrug launched their second hull in as many months, Hull 783, on April 27th which will now undergo finishing and paint work before her scheduled delivery in 2011. Read more here.
KS005 - Hong-Kong based Kingship launched the second Magellan 110, KS005, on April 14th, which follows on from the first hull in the series, Princess K. Read more here.
Phoenix 2 | Project J24 – German yard Lurssen launched the 87.2m Project J24, named Phoenix 2, on April the 8th. Read more here.
Princess Claudia - As well as launching the 33m Dandy Six at the beginning of the month, Italian yard Sanlorenzo have also launched the 4th Sanlorenzo Alloy 40, the 40 metre Princess Claudia. Read more here.
Status Quo – Canadian yard Richmond Yachts launched the 45m Status Quo, the largest FRP yacht ever built in Canada. Read more here.
