Mourjan Marinas IGY and Libra Capital, a Moroccan investment firm have announced their alliance to commence plans for what they describe as "an exclusive waterfront project located South West of Morocco".

The plans span a wide range of developments, not all marina-centric and providing a range of attractions for visitors, including: commercial, residential and leisure facilities such as luxury hotels, golf courses, exclusive retail and dining outlets as well as the marina. Importantly for superyachts,  the Mourjan/Libra partnership plans to capitalise on the trend for larger yachts with what is described as "a substantial number of berths being planned for megayachts".
 
The initial stages will see Mourjan Marinas IGY engaged in a number of marine environmental studies, including commercial viability and feasibility studies.
