Known for the fairing and painting of superyachts, Concept Yachts has recently expanded their composites department with a new facility to provide a wider variety of advanced composite capabilities, from production line builds and race boat manufacture to composite component manufacture and the supply of a mobile workforce. With contracts ongoing for a production line of resin infused power boats in the Middle East, the company have also been assisting Abu Dhabi MAR with their Swift 141 project and say that this expansion will allow them to increase their presence in this key market.

The new Concept Yachts facility

Concept Composites has a wealth of experience in all types of composite manufacture including resin infusion, pre-preg and wet lay-up under vacuum. As well as offering these services, Concept Composites has a mobile team of experienced technicians/consultants who are trained to communicate with workforces from any nationality enabling them to offer such services as skills transfer, training and project management, where ever your project may be located .

Concept Yachts have recently partnered with established British company Piran Marine LTD, who have been in the composites manufacturing business since 1985, which places ‘Concept’ in a unique and unrivalled position. The partnership will not only add experience but also a new manufacturing facility capable of all modern composite manufacturing techniques.
