Gallinea company exhibited two of their latest developments from their Innovation for Boat’s division at the 49th Genoa Boat Show this year.


iBoat ADHP version dock-station
Gallinea has announced its new iBoat ADHP version dock-station will be marketed with the “Made for iPod” trademark. The dock-station, designed by Brescia for the nautical environment, has finally received approval from Apple, probably the world’s most famous multimedia brand. The dock-station was previewed at Gallinea’s stand (Pad. C-Stand M25) at the 49th Genoa International Nautical Boat Show and is also featured onboard the Thalassa built, Santarpia 55.

Gallinea began as a basic supplier of nautical accessories for European shipyards, specialising in windscreen wipers. According to the company, their Innovation for Boat division has been responsible transforming the company and generating its direction in new marine technology. The new ADHP version dock-station was the result of the collaboration between Gallinea’s locations in Cupertino (California, USA) and Palazzolo sull’Oglio.

The ADHP version is the latest product in the iBoat product range for the Innovation for Boat division, who are delighted to be able to market the dock-station with the “Made for iPod” trademark. Andrea Gallinea, from the Innovation for Boat division commented “It has been a very big satsfaction for us having the ‘Made for iPod’ trademark”. The trademark signifies that the device has been designed to connect specifically to iPods and has been certified by the developer to meet Apple performance standards.
