From the Edmiston Terrace of the Port Palace Hotel at this year's Monaco Yacht Show, Edmiston, Eurocopter and Andrew Winch Designs (AWD) revealed the new helicopter design for the Eurocopter EC155. AWD have been collaborating with Eurocopter and Edmiston to design the helicopter concept especially for use on luxury yachts.

The EC155 B1 Dauphin is reportedly fitted with the most modern and effective autopilot. Powered by a medium twin-engine and features external designs inspired by the contours of ocean waves, interior teak flooring, leather wrap-around adjustable seats fitted with carbon fibre back shells, fold-down central armrests, 'floating' LCD screens and headphones all add to complete the ultimate luxury transport vehicle.

Andrew Winch said of his design, "The key idea behind my concept is comfort, endless comfort, be it on land with Range Rover, at sea with yacht or in the air with a helicopter".

Jamie Edmiston of Edmiston commented, "Having worked in partnership with Eurocopter for the last six years, it's great to be involved with such an innovative and exciting development of the relationship with both Eurocopter and Andrew Winch. The EC155 is the perfect addition to any yacht!".
