As can be seen from the picture below, the Maltese Falcon - currently for sale - has been pulled out of the water for the first time since its launch for a routine paint job amidst its hectic charter schedule. The paint was imported directly from New Zealand with local painters working hard to meet the two week time frame they've been given.
This is the first luxury superyacht to use the facility in Papeete, more usually used for commercial vessels up to 3800 tons and 150m long. With this in mind, the company given the job of painting the vessel claims it has been able to offer a very competitive price.
